It's nearly five years since I photographed the most spectacular 40th Birthday party here. There won't be any Birthday cake at tomorrow's photoshoot, but there will be baseballs, cartwheels, giant bubbles and, most importantly, plenty of sunshine! I'll take that over Birthday cake any day!

I think I'm going to hibernate this weekend with a big log fire, lots of woolly jumpers and plenty of movies! I'm really not a fan of the cold but I do love the soft winter light that streams through the windows! It's perfect for photographing shots like this indoors.

In fact, next week I'm photographing in the most amazing converted barn with huge floor to ceiling windows! I can't wait to create some really special photos there. So watch this space...and remember to keep warm and snuggly this weekend!
