You can't beat a homemade mince pie, especially when it's the first of the festive season. My husband would disagree as he hates them but that just means more for me! Plus, I got to indulge in some food photography! In fact, I've got a very exciting food-based photoshoot booked in January so you may see a little more food photography on here than normal. Christmas is certainly on the horizon! The shops are full of Christmas tunes; my son's counting down the days until he can open his advent calendar; and I've already had my first mince pie! But when it comes to Christmas decor, @victors_restaurants wins hands down! As you know, I was photographing its cosy outdoor igloos this week and couldn't resist capturing the luxurious glamour inside! Isn't it gorgeous?

I've photographed some wonderful things over the years, but never igloos - well not until now! @victors_restaurants asked me to capture a series of images this week to help promote its new igloo pods at @westgateoxford! Here's one of my photos that's now live on its website. The igloos can seat up to eight guests and are extremely snug and cosy so why not book yours now!

Quick reminder to any of my lovely families, past or present, who wish to order family albums, framed photos or prints for Christmas....the deadlines are looming so don't hang around!
In order to guarantee delivery before Christmas, orders must be placed by:
Family albums = Monday 20th November (that's next Monday!)
Framed photos = Monday 27th November (that's the following Monday!)
Prints = Monday 11th December
Remember, I'm here to help design your albums, mock-up frame ideas or recommend the best print options, so you don't have to worry about a thing!

I love fireworks, always have, always will! So I was thrilled to be asked by @oxfordhighschoolgdst to photograph its amazing display a few years ago! Halfway through the display I decided to change location and found myself stumbling around in the dark with a big tripod and heavy camera. It was like a scene out of a Bridget Jones movie and I remember thinking that if I fell and knocked myself out, nobody would find me. But thankfully I didn't fall and instead managed to capture some amazing photos for them!
