You can't beat a homemade mince pie, especially when it's the first of the festive season. My husband would disagree as he hates them but that just means more for me! Plus, I got to indulge in some food photography! In fact, I've got a very exciting food-based photoshoot booked in January so you may see a little more food photography on here than normal. Christmas is certainly on the horizon! The shops are full of Christmas tunes; my son's counting down the days until he can open his advent calendar; and I've already had my first mince pie! But when it comes to Christmas decor, @victors_restaurants wins hands down! In order to guarantee delivery before Christmas, orders must be placed by:
Family albums = Monday 20th November (that's next Monday!)
Framed photos = Monday 27th November (that's the following Monday!)
Prints = Monday 11th December

I love fireworks, always have, always will! So I was thrilled to be asked by @oxfordhighschoolgdst to photograph its amazing display a few years ago! Halfway through the display I decided to change location and found myself stumbling around in the dark with a big tripod and heavy camera. It was like a scene out of a Bridget Jones movie and I remember thinking that if I fell and knocked myself out, nobody would find me. But thankfully I didn't fall and instead managed to capture some amazing photos for them!
