Design & INteriors
As part of Storal's rebranding exercise, its nurseries were being being designed in the most inspiring way. The neutral tones and natural light created outstanding settings for children to play and learn.

As I travelled around the UK photographing Storal's nurseries, I was amazed by the variety of activities children were able to enjoy. The emphasis was really
on exploration through play. Ranging from babies enjoying sensory play with feathers, pine cones and flour to pre-schoolers catching fish and squirting pipettes.
I loved the way children played shop with real fruit and how the natural scent radiated from the lavender-infused playdough. So much thought had been put into each activity, yet these little details ensured the children were totally engrossed in each and every activity.

We all know how children can be picky eaters, but not at Storal. The menus were exemplary from curries and noodles, to overflowing fruit platters. Consequently, children dug in with such big smiles on their faces there were soon lots of empty plates and full tummies!
